TERABYTE G: RESEARCH AND DEVELOP A TOPIC PART 4
- RESEARCH AND DEVELOP A TOPIC ACTIVITY 1 VIDEO 4
Share and Evaluate Articles
In the previous video, you collaborated with your partner to write a fake article.
In this video, you and your partner will exchange articles with another couple.
Then, you will work with your partner at *one* computer to discover why the new article is *not* credible.
When you and your partner have finished your article, sit together at one computer.
Then, *share* your article with the rest of the group.
In your document, Click “Share” and type the email addresses of the other partners.
They will do the same for you.
When they have shared *their* article, open it from your Drive.
From a new tab or window, open Google Drive.
Then, look in your shared files to find the new article.
If you don’t see it, check with your partners to make sure they shared their article with you.
Read the shared document with your partner at one computer.
Look for signs that the article is not credible.
As you find these clues, add a comment about how you know the article is fooling you.
Highlight the section of the document you want to comment on.
Then insert a comment.
When you finish reading and commenting on the shared article, return to your own computer.
Open *your* article if it isn’t open already.
See if your partners found all of the clues you included in your article.
Then, move on to the next video to wrap up this activity.
Now, it’s your turn: Sit with your partner at one computer.
Share your fake article with another set of partners Open your partners’ article from your Drive.
Read the article with your partner.
